All Aboard! Guests travel to the Bay Area aboard Amtrak. Enjoy the comfortable reclining seats as you watch the beautiful California landscapes glide by your panoramic window in the Sightseer Lounge car. Upon arrival in Emeryville, a short transfer across the Bay Bridge is included to our hotel for the next three nights, the superbly located Hilton at Fisherman's Wharf. This evening is free to settle in. |

All day to enjoy this marvelous city. A nice feature of the Hilton at Fisherman’s Wharf is its ideal location and easy walking distance to major San Francisco attractions. The cable car to Union Square is nearby as is Ghirardelli Square, the newly restored Trolley “F” Line, Pier 39 and, of course, Fisherman's Wharf. Your hotel is perfectly located to enjoy all of it. Tonight our special New Years Eve dinner and drinks before viewing a spectacular fireworks celebration over San Francisco Bay to ring in the New Year. We have, understandably, left all morning for you to sleep in, a lovely start to the New Year indeed. This afternoon is a super opportunity to take in some sights or events but we begin with a special New Year’s luncheon at a well regarded San Francisco restaurant. Tonight is at the Hilton at Fisherman’s Wharf. |

Today free to see all the amazing sights ‘The City’ has to offer. Perhaps a ferry ride to Alcatraz Island or ride the fabled Cable Cars, a walk across the Golden Gate Bridge or after-Chistmas bargain shopping at Union Square.
Also, you can choose an optional day-trip sightseeing tour from the selections shown below. It’s a great way to have a memorable day as you wish. |
