SUPREME CHARM & COMFORT

Uncommon Journeys has always been known for including well-chosen hotels. In great cities, some of our usual choices include the Hilton Palmer House in Chicago, the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City, the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles and the Stanford Court Hotel in San Francisco atop Nob Hill. In remote areas like Glacier National Park, the choices are still appealing with properties like this historic Izaak Walton Inn, built by the Great Northern Railroad in the 1930’s utilized.
Most of our hotel stays are two or even three nights long, with very few one-night stays in any program. In all cases, room, tax and luggage handling fees are included and all hotels are chosen to be an easy walk from restaurants, shopping and other attractions. A good example of this is during our stays in Banff in the Canadian Rockies, our guests have three or four nights in this beautiful alpine village, in the heart of town center, less than a five minute walk from over 100 restaurants, cafes, shops and galleries. Similarly, our always popular Royal Canadian Holiday each Fall with the liner Queen Mary 2 offers the great treat of two night stays in Niagara Falls, Toronto and Montreal before boarding this last great Ocean Liner in Quebec.
These are just a few examples of our philosophy on hotel stays and we hope you will join us.
