On our cruise from Chicago to NYC, our guide provided a lot of information to us, including two excellent classes for the whole boat. My wife is to a degree mobility challenged, and our guide gave us a lot of information and options at those stops where we couldn’t do the regular side trips. His knowledge was amazing. Thank you for this great trip!
We wanted to thank you and your staff for all the assistance and welcome we received on our Queen Elizabeth 2 trip. We had a wonderful time and would travel again with you on one of your tour excursions. From our arrival into New York to our return back to Atlanta everything was flawless. There was no problem or situation that arose and that made for a relaxing and marvelous trip. We look forward to planning some trips for next year. We have told our friend about how great your service was, so you will see us again soon.

I wanted to take a minute and let you know what a fabulous trip we had last week on your ‘Best of the West’ tour. It was one of the best (if not the best) vacation we have been on.
The planning and details you go to made the trip fantastic. We appreciated the beauty in every park and liked the pace of the trip. You seemed to know just the days to take it easy and throw in a rest stop at Fairmont Hot Springs and the extra day in Jackson Hole was great as well.
I booked our trip with your office and your staff was so helpful in every way. I am very impressed with the employees you have and will not hesitate to recommend you to my friends and family.
I’m sure you get letters like this after every trip, but I couldn’t let this get to you without telling you how much we enjoyed our tour manager. We have done several tours and never before met someone as courteous, respectful and sensitive to the needs of all of the group. That could easily be a difficult task, but our tour guide answered our questions (sometimes the same questions over and over again) and made each of us feel as though our every need or request was his number one priority.
We hope to travel with Uncommon Journeys again!
My husband and I just returned from the Uncommon Journeys ‘Best of the West’ tour through 5 National Parks and have nothing but great things to say. First of all, our tour manager was the best ever. He was very well spoken and knowledgeable about the National Parks. He kept us entertained with his knowledge and trivia throughout the trip.
Our train portion of the tour was so much fun. We rode in 1950’s Pullman cars which were wobbly and noisy at times but an experience not to be missed. We traveled with wonderful people throughout the trip.
Every place we visited was an adventure nobody should miss, We visited Arches and Canyonland in Moab, Utah. From there we took a ride to Salt Lake City, Utah where we toured the Temple Square. Next stop was Jackson Hole Wyoming & Grand Teton, breathtaking! We also floated down the Snake River on a raft & spotted several bald eagles high in the trees. On to Yellowstone to see geysers and hot springs and more spectacular views. An overnight stop in Fairmont Hot Springs on our Way to Montana and Glacier. Last stop was Whitefish, Montana and Glacier.
God created a beautiful world and we should all be thankful to all of the great men who created the National Parks and many other protected lands for all of us to visit.
Our tour guide made the trip one of the best experiences we have ever had, I encourage you to take advantage of the knowledge they have and book this 2 week trip.
I wanted to express to you how much I enjoyed the tour and the great attitudes displayed not only by our tour manager, but also the bus driver. Both of these men went out of their way to make all of us feel right at home as we traveled together.
I found the tour as a whole to be thrilling not only in viewing the various and beautiful landscapes afforded to us by this part of the country, but also in the numerous associations I made with fellow passengers.
I certainly look forward to traveling with Uncommon Journeys in the future and I appreciate your kind attention.

Just a word to tell you how great the two leaders were on the west coast Canadian and Queen Elizabeth trip – They were outstanding. Thanks again for an interesting and all around wonderful trip.

JUIt is only appropriate to put on record a sincere appreciation for how well the ‘Best of the West’ was put together, and my admiration and endless praise for our tour-team for how well they executed it, and, there can be no doubt, added a series of personal initiatives and touches that made us all feel particularly well cared for and accommodated, and yet provided both discretion, dignity and personal time.
The tour successfully achieved one important objective for me – an introduction to the beauty and awesomeness of the Rocky Mountains. During my combined 19 years in the US I have always wanted to go, but never sought to mobilise friends or find the time to organise – so when a desperate respite from a working inferno was needed, I went for it. And while unplanned, the tour also had another significant accomplishment for which I am grateful and could not have planned: it introduced me to segments of American life that I have not encountered before, and I developed much affection and admiration for my fellow participants; their warmth, their achievements and inclusiveness. They were really nice people and good company.
Good luck – and thanks to all at Uncommon Journeys.

We just cruised Alaska with The Queen. It was a great cruise. Our Tour Director was terrific. She kept us so well informed. Planned two very nice cocktail parties on board and our excursions in Seattle, Vancouver and Whistler. She was so well organized, spunky and fun.
P.S. Loved the champagne & appetizers in our cabin.

Just a quick note to express our complete satisfaction with our recent Uncommon Journey’s adventure in the Canadian Rockies. The trip met – and exceeded – our expectations in so many ways, but none more so than the tour manager. He is a professional in every sense of the word – most accommodating and knowledgeable. He anticipated our needs as well as those of the other tour folks, and had answers before we had the questions. His presence made the trip that much more enjoyable. We’ve told others about our wonderful experience, and hope to travel with Uncommon Journeys again in the near future.
